About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager who is passionate about creating impactful content and executing a world-class content marketing strategy. This role is crucial for building our brand, scaling digital marketing efforts, and positioning ClearGov as a market leader. You should thrive on researching, writing, editing, and sharing compelling stories that resonate with our target audience. We value creativity and strategic thinking, and we need someone who can seamlessly transition from high-level strategy to hands-on execution.
The Content Marketing Manager will be a key player on an incredible team as we execute our mission to help local governments take the next step from good to great. Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy and content calendar to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across owned and earned channels.
- Oversee the entire content production process, from ideation to publication, ensuring high-quality, consistent output that aligns with ClearGov’s brand and messaging.
- Manage and optimize social media platforms to enhance brand presence, engagement, and audience growth. Implement strategies for content scheduling, interaction, and performance analysis.
- Identify and leverage thought leadership opportunities within the company and industry to enhance ClearGov’s market position and domain authority, collaborating with industry experts and partners.
- Partner with other departments, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Client Success, and Sales, to ensure the content strategy supports overall company objectives and resonates with our audience.
- Analyze content performance metrics to provide actionable insights, continuously refine the content strategy, and optimize content to drive inbound traffic and achieve business goals.
Critical Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a high-growth company or B2G environment.
- Proven track record in producing high-quality, SEO-driven content and managing content production efficiently.
- Strong ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships to align content initiatives with organizational priorities.
- Experience in shaping a brand’s presence across various content channels and multimedia platforms.
- Expertise in managing social media platforms, including content scheduling, performance optimization, and audience engagement.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools, content management systems (CMS), and analytics tools.
- Background in SaaS, B2G, or the education sector is a plus.
